FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The first step would be to arrange a no obligation meeting – either face to face perhaps over coffee or via Teams. If we’ve not worked together before this is simply to begin to get to know each other and develop a relationship. During the meeting, I’d seek to understand your business goals and challenges and more about your current marketing operation.

From here, together we can start to build out a picture of some of the areas that would help you optimise your marketing strategy, overcome challenges and increase your impact on growth. This may be quite a simple organic process done through conversation or we can carry out a Strategic Marketing Review using the Aquilo Framework.

Once we have a clear understanding of your priorities, we will provide you with an estimated cost to carry out the work for your consideration.

  • A fractional CMO is essentially a part-time senior leader who works on a contract or consultancy basis, coming into the organisation for typically no more than 3 days each week, to offer a fresh pair of eyes, strategic insights and operational ideas. The value-add they provide comes at a fraction of the cost of a full-time, permanent CMO.

    Why hire a fractional CMO?

    ·       You may not be ready or able to justify the cost of a full-time permanent leader

    ·       Less commitment, mitigating hiring risk

    ·       Avoid a lengthy recruitment process

    ·       Access to a specialist skillset you may not have

    ·       You don’t have to pay employers NI contributions, pension contributions, sick pay or holiday pay

    ·       You can benefit from someone with significant experience and ability who you may not have been able to hire full-time or permanently

    ·       A fractional CMO can provide high-impact solutions in a short amount of time

    ·       Hiring someone who is one step removed from company culture or internal politics can provide solutions to problems that are challenging to solve internally

    ·        Gain a fresh pair of eyes and new ideas
